We are pleased to welcome Aicha from Brazil, Anfisa from Ukraine, and Mariana from Mexico to our research team this summer through the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship program. During their time with us, they will contribute to ongoing research projects, develop new technical skills, and collaborate with students and researchers across the TEAM Hub. We look forward to supporting their research experience and to the perspectives and ideas they will bring to the group. :)

We are pleased to celebrate the graduation of Dr. Natasha Kunchur, the first PhD student to complete her degree under Dr. Mostaço-Guidolin’s supervision. Her thesis tilte is Profiling active extracellular matrix proteins in a fibrotic environment using multimodal Raman Microspectroscopy and Machine Learning Her achievement reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and scientific growth, supported by the collaboration and encouragement of colleagues across our research team.

We are welcoming a couple of new members to our team! Lasya Erukylla is an undergraduate student from Softwere Engineering. She is working on developing and improving strategies to better characterize cells and sub-cellular structures. Yasmine Mahmoud is an undergraduate in Science, specialized in Neuroscience. Yasmine has been contributing to map cellular behaviour in different biomaterials using microscopy imaging.
