Principles of Cell and Tissue Engineering

This elective course is one of the first courses offered at Carleton University fully integrating Engineering with Sciences. It is an endeavour designed to engage undergraduate students from diverse disciplines — including Engineering, Health Sciences, Medical Physics, Biology, and Chemistry—in mastering fundamental concepts involved in the conceptualization, design and establishment of artificial tissue models for clinical and pharmaceutical research. Expect to be challenged and enhance your problem-solving skills, while becoming proficient in both scientific inquiry and engineering design.
